In the heart of Sanur juts in front of the Grand Bali Beach Hotel, is considered one of the world best right reef breaks when over 8 feet but this happen very rarely. It breaks 500m offshore and can produce very long barrels, watch out for big clean up sets. Not for Nancy boys over 6 feet, watch the low tide.

SUP rating: 8 - / The right is one of our favorite breaks on med to high tide and wave around 3 - 4 ft

When you've entered the parking area of Sindu Beach you'll spot the two breaks: one right which is on the right side of the channel which can be surfed at all tides and a left at the other side which is better at high tide due to the shallow reef. Wear booties... The left is a very hollow nice wave with fun barrels when over 4 ft, the locals call it "mini pipeline".

Quite a long way from shore (1 km) really susceptible to wind and tides!

A shifty, hollow, fast and powerful right-hander. Some time closes out, sometimes lines up, it can deliver the best barrel of your life or the worst disastrous wipe out in the inside slab. Rideable for experts from the far right side (don't go too far or you will see yourself on corals!) and also rideable at inner peak for non-experts. Can get very crowded by locals but if you are lucky you will be there only with your friends and the locals who took you there.

There is also a Left Hander in the other side of the channel that is great for learner! Fun wave with good power but not too long.

Far away from the beach just right to the light house. Rarely surfed! Only by few locals kids. Is our best SUPS spot we have found so far! Can be reached in 15 minutes of paddling. Best in no wind. Need some size to be breaking but if too big it will close out. Give you a great ride with a nice channel to go out.

Next to Blue Reef is this mushy long left hander! Can't be really surfed but is great on a SUP, so far the absolutely best spot we have found for beginner.

When Blue Reef start to close out due to the size or the tide, here you can still have plenty of fun. Need no wind to be good and also some size to be breaking. Very easy wave with nice take off and keep going and going and going! Sweet channel to go out. Can't find a better place to start!
